Do you travel outside of Bendigo?
I sure do. While I call Bendigo home, I love a road trip. I frequently officiate weddings in Castlemaine, Heathcote, Echuca, Daylesford, and across the Macedon Ranges. (Note: A small travel fee applies for venues more than 50km from Bendigo, but I’ll always be upfront about that in your quote).

First, I’m glad that you’ve reached out! Then, I’ll check my calendar. If I’m free on your date, I’ll make contact for a no-obligation “Vibe Check” chat (over a cuppa or Zoom). This is just a casual catch-up to hear your story, explain how I work, and see if we’re the perfect fit. No sales pressure, just a good chat.
How far in advance should we book you?
The short answer? As soon as you have your date and venue! Legally, we must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one month before the big day. Practically speaking, popular dates in Bendigo (especially March and November) often book out 12–18 months in advance. If you love the “Warm & Meticulous” vibe, let’s chat sooner rather than later.
What is the best way to get in touch?
The Contact Form above or email is definitely the quickest way to reach me! Because I’m often out on the road, meeting couples, or in the middle of marrying lovely people (like you soon!), I can’t always answer the phone. If you pop your details in an email, I can check my diary and get back to you with a proper answer within 24-48 hours.
How do we lock you in? (Do we need a deposit?)
Once we’ve had our chat and you decide I’m the celebrant for you (yay!), I’ll send you a booking contract and an invoice for a booking fee (usually a small percentage of the total package). Once that fee is paid, your date is exclusively yours in my diary, and I turn away all other enquiries for that time.
We have no idea what we want yet... is that okay?
It is completely normal! You don’t need to have your vows written or your songs picked before you contact me. Part of my job is to guide you through the options, from “Short & Sweet” to “The Full Works.” Just fill in the form with what you do know (like your date and venue), and we can figure out the rest together.
Do we have to meet in person, or can we do Zoom?
I love a real-life cuppa date in Bendigo, but I know how busy life gets (especially if you are planning a wedding!). I am completely set up for Zoom or FaceTime consultations. We can plan your entire ceremony from the comfort of your couch.
