About Cassandra

The hopeless romantic with an eye for detail: Based in Bendigo, I help couples across Central Victoria create ceremonies that are equal parts heartfelt and perfectly you — without the stress of legal loopholes.

Mission

To banish "boring weddings" forever.
I believe your ceremony should set the tone for the reception, not be the part everyone endures before the open bar.

Vision

To help couples build a marriage as resilient as it is romantic. Inspired by love stories that last a lifetime, I focus on the "forever" promise, not just the one-day event.

Values

Whether it’s a quiet elopement or a grand festival of love, I believe in safe spaces, genuine laughter, and getting the legal paperwork 100% right.

I Read the Room so You Don't Have To

A great ceremony is all about energy.

I pride myself on being able to read the room instantly. I know when to lighten the mood to settle a nervous groom, when to pause to let a tearful vow sink in, and how to get your guests cheering for the kiss.

I’m relaxed, I’m approachable, and I’m definitely not going to turn your wedding into a lecture. Whether we are at a winery in Heathcote, a garden in Castlemaine, or a private property in Echuca, I turn up as your supporter, your storyteller, and your calm in the chaos.

Your Ceremony in Safe, Qualified Hands.

While I’m all about creating a relaxed, joyful atmosphere on your wedding day, I take the legal side of your marriage incredibly seriously.

I hold a Certificate IV in Celebrancy and am a proud, active member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC). For you, this means complete peace of mind. Being part of the AFCC ensures I am constantly engaged in professional development, strictly adhering to the highest industry standards, and staying completely up-to-date with the Attorney-General’s latest marriage regulations.

My meticulous approach to the legalities means you get to focus entirely on the fun parts—like celebrating with your favourite people—knowing your paperwork is flawless and your marriage is in the safest possible hands.

It Started with a 60-Year Love Story

People often ask me why I became a Civil Celebrant. The truth is, I’ve been studying love my whole life.

Growing up, I watched my grandparents navigate life together. They were married for over 60 years. They taught me that true love isn’t just about the wedding day—it’s about communication, resilience, “give and take,” and knowing when to retreat to the man cave (or the she-shed)!

I bring that same depth of care to your ceremony. I’m not just there to read a script; I’m there to help you start your own 60-year journey. I want to tell your story in a way that honours where you’ve come from and celebrates where you’re going.
